The 2022-23 Fairleigh Dickinson Knights joined one of the most historically exclusive clubs in sports Friday night, becoming the second No. 16 seed in men’s NCAA Tournament history to topple a No. 1 seed.
They join the beloved 2017-18 UMBC Retrievers, who shocked the world with their takedown of No. 1 Virginia nearly five years earlier to the date.
